OCVA is an Orange County volleyball club based in Irvine, welcoming athletes from Tustin, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Lake Forest, Santa Ana, Laguna Hills, and nearby cities. We offer two clear pathways— Irvine Select (Elite) and Irvine Futures (Development)—so players can grow at the right pace.

Designed for athletes building core skills, confidence, and game awareness. Great for players leveling up fundamentals and learning team systems—preparing them to progress into Irvine Select.
Athletes showing strong progress may move from Irvine Futures to Irvine Select during the season.
Every OCVA team follows a structured development plan designed by Head Coach Morteza Shiari. Our coaching approach focuses on efficient skill progress, decision-making, and competitive readiness.
Competitive yet supportive teams that emphasize technical mastery, game awareness, and leadership. Individual coaching helps each athlete improve faster—whether they’re Irvine-based or traveling in from nearby cities.
Led by experienced coaches emphasizing teamwork, confidence, and advanced volleyball techniques. A clear pathway from fundamentals to higher-level play.
Players are evaluated and placed into Irvine Select or Irvine Futures to support the best team balance and individual growth. Our tryouts are open to athletes from across Orange County (Irvine-based).
