OCVA Events — Programs, Clinics & Camps in Orange County

Welcome to the OCVA Events hub. This page is where families and adult athletes can find what’s happening now—weekly training sessions, seasonal programs, clinics, camps, and special-format events—across Irvine and nearby Orange County cities. If you’re new, use the quick categories below to choose the best starting point, then scroll to the events list to register.

Not sure which listing fits your athlete? A good rule is: Youth programs emphasize fundamentals and confidence-building reps, Adult sessions prioritize fitness, consistency, and gameplay, and Clinics/Camps are great for short “skill boosts” (serve/receive, setting, hitting, defense) during school breaks or between seasons. If you’re trying to map a season, start with one reliable weekly session and add a clinic or camp when your athlete is ready for higher volume training.

For the clearest pathway, you can also jump to our dedicated program pages: Youth Volleyball Programs, Adult Volleyball Programs, and Private Training. If you have questions about schedules, partnerships, or the right level, reach us any time via the Contact page.

Events FAQ

How do I register for an event?

Open any event listing below, confirm the date/time/location, then complete registration on that event page. If you’re comparing options, the fastest overview is the Youth Programs and Adult Programs pages.

What level is right for my athlete?

Beginners should prioritize fundamentals, movement, and confidence (high-quality reps). Intermediate athletes benefit from structured game-like training and serve/receive consistency. Advanced athletes should choose higher-speed sessions and positional development. When in doubt, start with the youth pathway guide: Youth Volleyball Programs.

Where are events located?

OCVA serves Irvine and nearby Orange County cities—always confirm the exact address on the specific event listing before attending. You can also explore location-based program hubs (example: Irvine Volleyball Programs).

Do you offer refunds or make-ups for missed sessions?

Policies can vary by program. For withdrawals, missed sessions, and related questions, review: Refund Policy.

What should athletes bring?

Athletic clothes, indoor court shoes, water, and (optional) knee pads. Arrive early for warm-up and check-in. For athletes ramping up training volume, keep an eye on recovery and shoulder/ankle care.

Can I book private training instead of a group event?

Yes—private sessions are ideal for targeted skill fixes (serving, passing angles, approach timing) or position-specific development. See details here: Private Training.
