How The Program Works

Progression First

Every session moves from technical base work to faster game constraints. Athletes are not kept in one generic drill loop.

  • Team Placement — On the first day, athletes are assigned to balanced teams and introduced to a dedicated coach who guides them throughout the week.
  • Daily Schedule — Each morning starts with focused skill development sessions, followed by team-centered drills and controlled scrimmage play.
  • Team Development — As the week progresses, players train alongside the same teammates, strengthening chemistry and learning to perform as a cohesive unit.
  • Thursday Champs — The camp concludes with a tournament-style event where teams compete for recognition, awards, and a memorable finish to the week.
This progression model is why many families consider OCVA among the best volleyball camps in Orange County.
Sessions are designed to create measurable improvement week to week rather than random activity blocks.
